Catering for all ages and levels of fitness, the First Light Club is led by a team of qualified yogis who believe early morning – especially in nature - is a powerful time to practice yoga. Come and learn new yoga skills and get ready for your day! Available only to guests staying at Elements of Byron.

Seminar 2 - New anti-money laundering laws for lawyers, accountants and real estate agents - do they apply to you and are you complying? 
Late 2024 the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter Terrorism Financing Act changed to extend the AML/CTF obligations to lawyers, accountants and real estate agents. If it applies "reporting entities" must be compliant with AML/CTF obligations by 1 July 2026. Lawyers, accountants and real estate agents need to conduct rigorous risk assessments of clients, if it applies. Do these new laws apply to you and are you complying?

Conference venue: Elements of Byron is a luxury beach front resort with an incredible facilities and things to do available to guests. 
Getting to Elements of Byron: Detailed transfer options from various airports available here.
Your conference ticket gives you access to the conference only and not all facilities at Elements of Byron. You will need to book Elements of Byron accommodation to access the sunrise yoga classes as they are for guests only. 
Accommodation: Book accommodation that suits you within the Byron Bay area. We suggest you stay at Elements of Byron to be able to fully use their amazing facilities. 
Can I bring my family or friends? Of course...you can relax together between sessions! Just purchase the type of accommodation that suits your group. 
Dress: Smart casual.
Spa treatments: Remember to book any spa treatments as soon as possible. We've heard on the grapevine it can be hard to find facials in Byron Bay but luckily Elements of Byron has the luxurious Osprey Spa.

​We support you in the following ways if you need to make changes after booking one of our conferences.
  • Substitute delegates: welcome at any time - just let us know who will replace you at the conference.
  • If you have to cancel 30 days or more from start of conference: we are happy to transfer your booking to another available conference (with any difference in price paid by you or refunded by us).
  • If you have to cancel less than 30 days from start of conference: we maintain cancellation lists for all sold out conferences and where possible will do our best to share your place with those on the waitlist. If we are able to replace your booking then you will be entitled to a full refund minus $200 booking & administration fee. If we cannot share your place with someone on the waitlist then you will be entitled to a 50% refund of the conference ticket.  
  • ​Insurance: Your ticket does not include insurance of any kind. It is strongly recommended that delegates take out their own general insurance that will reimburse their accommodation and travel costs in the event of cancellation by us or a delegate's inability to attend due to any reason whatsoever. It is suggested that the insurance policy should also cover loss of fees/deposit, medical expenses, loss or damage to personal property and repatriation expenses. No responsibility is taken by us for any person not holding insurance.

Senior commercial lawyer and privacy specialist with over 25 years' experience as a top-tier lawyer and senior in-house lawyer in a variety of industries including technology, financial services, higher education, health, medical research and not-for-profit.

Angela has most worked with some of Australia's most known organisations and brands.

​Since 2012, Angela has practiced through her Incorporated Legal Practice, MainStreet Business Services Pty Ltd, which is delivering Rejuven8 CPD.   
​This has meant Angela has parachuted into  many different types of legal teams and organisations to provide legal support as a General Counsel, Senior Legal Counsel or consultant.​ ​She has facilitated many training sessions over the years for businesses and teams.  

​Angela has been a wellness devotee for decades to balance out challenging work environments with a passion for mindfulness practices and treatments such as acupuncture and shiatsu. ​When not lawyering or training, Angela spends her time negotiating with her children and 3-year-old Cobber Dog (sometimes successfully).

Omaru is a cyber security and machine learning practitioner with over 15 years industry and research experience. Omaru is the CEO at Aiculus, a Cyber-AI company which specialises in leading edge solutions that help organisations fully and securely leverage technology.

Omaru started his career with large corporates including a big Australian bank and PwC. Omaru has undertaken research in the AI space and is a Professor at Federation University Australia. In his spare time, Omaru enjoys travelling and spending time with his family.  ​

​Senior commercial lawyer with broad experience working on various projects throughout Australia and overseas both as a top-tier lawyer and senior in-house lawyer in defence, mining & resources, construction and energy industries.  Cai Lin is a sought-after lawyer working mainly for ASX listed clients and her clients value her practical approach in delivering outcomes. 

One of Cai Lin's most recent projects has been supporting a smaller client set up a holistic vet clinic and reinventing the way veterinary services are provided in an animal wellness environment.  Imagine walking into a veterinary clinic where you are greeted with aromatherapy scent and calming music with pets able to explore the clinic off-lead and demanding treats and massages from clinic staff.  When not lawyering, Cai Lin enjoys spending time horse riding, catering to the whims of her part-Bengal cat, Tigger and working with small animals.​​
