If joining, 8.45am at Desert Gardens Hotel Bus Stop for 8.50am departure - pls purchase a Uluru Hop On Hop Off Bus ticket and Park Pass in advance 
Hop on the Uluru Hop On Hop Off Bus and travel to the Mala walk carpark for the Ranger Guided Mala Walk (family and friends welcome). You will need to purchase a bus ticket and Park Pass to enter the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, in advance ($36 for 3 days; $50 for an Annual Park Pass).

10:00 - 11.30 am
​Ranger Guided Mala Walk along the base of Uluru through to Kantju Gorge
An easy 2km return guided walk where you will stop at various sites to listen to the park rangers talk about the meaning of rock art, demonstrate the tools traditionally used by Anangu and hear creation stories of many rock formations. Learn about how Uluru and Kata Tjuta formed and talk about the desert environment and the animals and plants that live there.  The Mala walk ends at Kantju Gorge - a dramatic, near vertical wall that becomes a raging waterfall when it rains.   • Substitute delegates: welcome at any time - just let us know who will replace you at the conference.
  • If you have to cancel 30 days or more from start of conference: we are happy to transfer your booking to another available conference (with any difference in price paid by you or refunded by us).
  • If you have to cancel less than 30 days from start of conference: we maintain cancellation lists for all sold out conferences and where possible will do our best to share your place with those on the waitlist. If we are able to replace your booking then you will be entitled to a full refund minus $200 booking & administration fee. If we cannot share your place with someone on the waitlist then you will be entitled to a 50% refund of the conference fee. 
  • ​Insurance: Your ticket does not include insurance of any kind. It is strongly recommended that delegates take out their own general insurance that will reimburse their accommodation and travel costs in the event of cancellation by us or a delegate's inability to attend due to any reason whatsoever. It is suggested that the insurance policy should also cover loss of fees/deposit, medical expenses, loss or damage to personal property and repatriation expenses.
